Here’s an overview of the major new features:

YouTube 360 live streaming

In the past months we’ve been working actively with Google to bring you the ability to combine the best live 360 video creation software with YouTube video streaming platform. Following Google’s announcement, we are happy today to introduce you a new workflow to deliver content to your end-users swiftly and conveniently.

RTMP output with authentication

The RTMP feature was revamped to offer authentication (and compatibility with Akamai CDN), server re-connection, as well as Advanced encoder options like profile and level.

You can now preview your output not only in your Oculus Rift CV1 but also in your HTC Vive, to make sure the end-user experience matches yours.

Network stream inputs

IP cameras are sometimes put forward as the future of the video, and using a RTSP camera for instance enable you to have your stitcher (running Vahana VR) away from your cameras. We now support several network stream inputs in Vahana VR!
